Day One...

Well work started 14 minutes ago and here I am sipping coffee and typing.

So now my work is to begin.  I set a goal this morning.  I will attempt to have no frozen bananas in my freezer by March 21st.  I'm not a fan of the banana, but the family likes them.  But we typically have one or two that get too old every few weeks.  I throw them in the freezer in hopes of baking with them somewhere down the road.  A quick inventory reveals that I in fact have at least 21 bananas in the freezer.  That's a lot of banana bread, banana muffins, and whatever else I can make with old bananas.  If all goes well, Regina office, you'll be seeing some banana products in your future.

This shit is bananas...B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

Two Weeks and Counting

I would love to focus on planning for my sabbatical, however, I have two sessions to get ready for Mexico.  Those aren't going nearly as well.  I wanted to have them complete by the end of the weekend, but I'm not even close!

The week is going to be a blur!

Here I go...in...3...2...1

Knowing where to start...

I have a jammed packed month leading up to my sabbatical starting January 31st, 2011.  I have large clients that need attention, I have a session that I need to prepare for Mexico, I have a team building exercise to create for Mexico, I have two kids to give my attention to, I have a husband that likes to spend time with me, and a house full of animals.  I'm excited, anxious, and apprehensive all at the same time.

I know what I want the outcome of my sabbatical to be.  I want to have the plan and tools available to live a balanced life.  My approach to becoming balanced is to completely go off balance in the areas where I seem to lack the most in my life...getting off of my fat ass and having fun.

So here's my starting point.  I'm not sure it is the right place to start, but it's all I've got!
